Work Shop Manual - where to find one was created by KZ1000inaus
I'm trying to find a WSM for my 78 KZ A2
Whats out there?
I bought a Haynes but its for older models 77 and below (although the ad said differently and he refunded me)
Are there new ones you can buy or do you have to find a used one?

No new ones being made but you can find used ones on ebay for around 35 bucks if your lucky.

I have the manual on my computer file and can send it to you for free if you PM me with your Email address.

It's photo copys of the original 78 shop manual and it's big , about 50 kb

Ahh... i just saw your other thread about the size of the doco.
It's 50Mb so unlikely my email will accept that.
There are a few ways of sending large files to people they are free send files sites.
I have used them before but i cant remember which one.
Do you want me to look into it again and let you know or did you find a way of sending?

Found a Clymer one at a buy sell swap classic bike show.. very well used but in good enough condition to use.. and a book on Seventies Superbikes which of course has the KZ in :-)

$60 for a Clymers (Non OEM) manual... :pinch: Naw, don't think so...

Besides, the FREE Z1/KZ900 OEM Manual in the file base is ~ 98% the same up to 1980 KZ1000...

Sure, the wiring diagram which you can get free (Google Images) and some other minor differences but hell, pretty much everything is reverse compatible to swap parts on... Good enough!

<hijack alert> I'm looking for one for a 1980 KZ1000 ST. Didn't see one in the files section, and yea, 50$ is kinda steep. Would just like a pdf for now, until I see what I'm into with the new scoot.
Any ideas?

Edit: I have downloaded the Z1/KZ900 manual Old Man mentioned. It is pretty damn close for the most part. It will work in the meantime.
