Is anyone aware of any modifications necessary to ensure engine lubracation while doing extended 1/4 - 1/2 mile wheelie's?

trapdoor in pan is usually enough, some guys build rear pickup for pump but i think that is overkill for most situations though!;)how about a fullsize picture of that bike in your avatar?;)

my turbo engine has the oil pump modded to have a rear pick up. that would supply you all the oil you need up to about 12 o'clock. 8^)

I just removed my modified pan/pump. It was put on for wheelies. It holds about an extra quart or so and has a tube pick up that goes right down into the reservior in the back. Worked great but I want to lower the bike and need all the clearance I can get. I think the rear pick up would work much better for wheelies but the trap door should be great for drag racing. I installed the trap door on another pan and put that on the engine.
The Kaw List:
Current: 79 KZ1000 A3 MKII, 78 KZ1000 A2, 78 KZ1000 Z1-R, 78 KZ650 SR, 80 KE175
Former: 03 KLX400SR, 99 ZRX1000, 82 KZ750 LTD, 80 KZ1000 A4 MKII, 80 KZ1000 LTD, 78 KZ1000 A2, 74 H-2 750 Triple, 78 KL250
