JMK, where did you find the procedure to replace the clutch cable? i am looking at a nice Kz650 but it needs the clutch cable and i don't wanna get it and find that i can not do the job.

hey, thanks a lot for the help. hopefully i can get the bike i am looking at. the dealers better not screw me either. all they said was that it needed a clutch cable. but you can never trust a dealer who is far from your location.:laugh:
