apperently the zephyr is a 96 but with less than 3000 miles on it when someone slid it and then stuck it in their shed so the engine should be fresh ,I also fancy the swingarm forks wheels ect for the ELR the zephyr is English registered but is in France -the Paperwork required for French registration makes it unrealistic to put the Zephyr on the road here but does make it a reasonably cheap donor bike I may go and see it this weekend

Sorry, on this side of the Atlantic we get excited about ZR1100's...they were only available here for two years so they don't appear too often...

well I finally went to see the beast today -it turns out it had been crashed and then left in a garden for four years just long enough to corrode everything including the forks,so it looks awfull and the motor seems somehow taller than my existing 1000r and I don't think it will fit in the frame- so I had to do the only sensible thing and buy it so that we could all go to lunch and discuss the project.
I will post when I get it home and see if there is any hope of turning the two bikes into one.

I own a 93 ZR1100 and love it. If only you lived in the states I would buy it just to save for parts as I will keep this sweety for many years to come.
