Thank you 👍🏼 Interesting...... So I'll have to try to dress these sprockets on camshaft 3x, which I have and see what happens in time. But this is when the head arrives with the replacement of the guide bushings.....Although, of course, setting the camshaft by overlap in mm is tdc, much faster and easier than by degrees.
Do you have no information what is the overlap of mm valves in tdc for standard Kawasaki camshaft?I have never been able to calculate this exactly.......

Very few people set up cams using the TDC lift method and you probably won't be able to find that information for stock Z1/KZ cams. Some aftermarket makers do list such data for some cams and sometimes its included on the cam timing card when buying new cams. Most people set up the timing using the LC method with degree wheel.

There is some TDC data for some cams listed on this Megacycle page :

Those 3X cams may give you issues if your valve pockets are not too deep.

Thank you very much, great information. 👍 Andrews also gave this information. In my opinion, it is much faster and easier to adjust the camshafts by closing the valves. Moreover, when the engine is on a motorcycle. And more precisely. Although I will not argue who likes it.It takes 10 minutes to check the overlap during valve adjustment and maintenance. It takes me a long time with a degree disk. 🤦 🏼With sprockets Andrews came the question because there are no slits.I have sprockets with adjustment, but I don't know who the manufacturer is.
