I was ready to throw them out!.  This is it on the bike, I have since put another on it. You will need the muffler part. The pipes have no rust on them. Anything you see is dirt/oil. If you put toilet bowl cleaner on them, it will remove all gold color and make them look brand new. Keep in mind, everyone who is watching, that toilet bowl cleaner contains a chemical that wil will turn gold or blue pipes back to their original color. You spray it on for no longer than a minute, then brush/wash it off.
