I think VM32s would be too big for an otherwise stock KZ400. You may want to look at VM30s instead.

By Radski: that service model doesnt cover my model or year. mine is a '78 400B. Has the front disk brake and flat top style carbs.

The KZ400.com site has the 78-81 KZ400 manual that covers the 400B >> each chapter is a separate link.

Warning: the forums there may harm your computer. I haven't been there in a long while, so not sure if that's true any more.
