Steve I've had the riser off and there is a plug there. The cooler intake hose takes off from the riser. Then the cooler outlet goes to the oil pressure test port and enters the gallery there.
I just don't know how to take out this plug.
When I take a picture of it I will take a closer look at the plug.

That oil galley goes in two directions. It feeds the lower end and tranny and feeds the top ends as well. If it is blocking the galley only one side will get oil. Is it rubber? You may have to drill it out then blow out the debris. I have long drill bits I used in my work.

It should just pull out. Maybe put a nut on it and pry it out.

Well Steve I got that plug out. It was a piece of rubber on a bolt. Surprised that bolt didn't fall into the oil gallery.
I ordered a gallery plug for the side.
The fitting on the pressure sensor riser looks like some kind of pipe thread.
Steve that picture you posted above of the riser has a plug in it.
Do you know what that is ?
Does anyone know what size that pipe thread is ? Probably metric.

It's a NPT pipe thread. Take it to the hardware store and match it up. If you want the one I have just pay the shipping but I suspect it would be cheaper to buy a plug fitting. It wasn't blocking the galley? If not you should be good to go. B)

Are you sure it's not a metric pipe thread ? It measures 16mm x 1.5 pitch

A 1/4 NPT threads right in. Try it.

Steve I'm talking about the internal hex pipe plug that is in the oil pressure riser. Not the right side gallery plug hole.
A 1/4 npt falls in the hole I'm talking about. Way too small.

Take the rizer in and find one that fits. Both sides are the same.
