Ran 16/41 for a long time but went back to 16/42 when I went with the new chain and sprockets a while back. Tried 17/41 (which is slightly higher than what you have now) once for a trip (to calm the rpms down) and it killed acceleration for me but you have those extra 160cc. (110 now).......I agree with JR wouldn't go any less and if you ever feel the need for some 1/4 mile action Zuk has it right with at least 16/42 or 45.

Once in a while I throw on a 15 tooth front (just bought a new one) which is pretty close to Zuk's 16/45 set up and tear up the streets but always have gone back as its too wild for the highway . Sure comes outta the hole nice though.:woohoo:

I run the 16-45 for 1/8 mile drag racing it go's through the light's just under the 10,500 rev. limiter.
1980 KZ650 F1
ZX750A1 motor.
Wiseco 810cc kit.
Zukiworks racing ported head.
VM 29 smooth bore's.
Dyna 2000 Ign. w/Dyna mini coil's
APE cylinder stud's and nut's.
APE valve spring's.
APE Track King clutch.
V/H KZ1000 sidewinder.
3.5x18 laced to a KZ1000 disk hub.
150/60/18 Shinko 006 Podium.
63" wheel base.
