Use factory gaskets you can them at a good price from Partzilla.

1980 KZ650 F1
ZX750A1 motor.
Wiseco 810cc kit.
Zukiworks racing ported head.
VM 29 smooth bore's.
Dyna 2000 Ign. w/Dyna mini coil's
APE cylinder stud's and nut's.
APE valve spring's.
APE Track King clutch.
V/H KZ1000 sidewinder.
3.5x18 laced to a KZ1000 disk hub.
150/60/18 Shinko 006 Podium.
63" wheel base.

Doesn't look like they carry them any longer. Also - I already order a head and base gasket off eBay - it was the post oil leak service bulletin 4/400-13 gaskets. So hopefully those two should seal it up pretty good.

Trying to think of anything else while I have this thing apart....

It has been blowing some smoke until it's warm. Hard to say if it was burning oil or what.. maybe it was due to this leaky gasket? I want to make sure its done right this time... The rings were replaced about 300 miles ago, and I checked the top rings in the bottom of the cylinder and they were in spec.

I'm not familiar with the 440 but there is a portion of the 750 head gasket where Kawasaki recommends sealer. Point being, look in your manual.
