Instead of messing around with all this compression gauge stuff. Just do a leak down test on your motor. That way you will know for sure if you have a problem!!!!!
Leak down test will tell you EXACTLY where your problem is. Its the only sure way of checking a motor that you have questions about!!!

How much oil is the engine burning? I wouldn't be concerned in the least with 140 psi unless it's smoking and burning oil.

I'm adding a little oil every other day when not riding it, and more every day when I am. It's like the oil fairy siphons it out when nobody is watching.:evil:
Actually, I suspect evaporation is the real culprit...:whistle:
