Is the dynatek adjustable pickup the same as stock just wit slots to adjust? Could i get my stock one slitted by a machine shop and it be the same thing?

No... totally different systems.
You can elongate the holes on your stock timing plate if you need to alter the timing, or you can just press the rotor slug off and put it back on in the correct position.
