Just bought an 82 CSR from a CL ad. How tough are parts to locate, and are there any good cross-references for common parts?

Howdy. Partzilla has parts diagrams & a cross-reference. the x-ref isn't perfect so always double-check to verify the fitment.
Your csr is most similar to the 83-84 750-Twin models. I think the engine is basically the same thru the entire model run from 76 to 84. The other csr models are almost completely different, but your bike has the same fenders, grab bar & meters as my 650-csr.

+1 to Martin's comments. Z1E is very good. Partzilla is also an excellent resource and sells OEM Kawi parts. Just the exploded diagrams can be priceless.
