You can pull the clutch push rod out all ya want, not the shift rod that hold the shift forks. Maybe I assumed he was talking about the shift rod and not the clutch push rod. The ball bearing in only supposed to come out the clutch side so maybe this is what he means and is in a better position than I previously though. The clutch push rod can just be cleaned and put back in. Hoping that's his situation.

Vance and Hines Header w/ comp baffle and Ape pods, Dyna S and green coils, copper wires.
29MM smooth bores W/ 17.5 pilots, 0-6s and 117.5 main
16/42 gearing X ring chain and alum rear JT sprocket.

What I'm talking about is #12 clutch push rod (if my first adding file works) :dry: ......

Yep 12 can be taken out and services from Th heart side. That part does not hold shift forks. R
