I cant see clearly in your pictures if the oil pickup is set to be down into your rear deep pan.
Bad camera angle ?
Oil pickup should be about 3/4 of a inch above deep sump bottom

Cool project, I always wanted to do a turbo but never have mostly because of the $$$$.
Looks like its being done well.

One question, I am new to KZ's so I don't now much, but doesn't the clutch hub have to go in before the cases are put together, or is it different with a lock-up clutch, or on different year KZ's
I believe its called "Oppositional Defiance Disorder"

Thank You!!!! Looks like I am back to the drawing board. Totally forgot about the clutch housing.. I thought about sending the clutch housing to Ape Racing to be be rebuilt with there heavy duty kit, looks like I will have time know. Thanks Again You saved me alot of time in the long run.

Thanks for the info. I will check that out when i Split the cases again. I forgot to put the clutch housing in. Did you have ape racing rebuild and weld clutch housing on yours?

Stock clutch basket. Polished the aluminum basket fingers so clutch doesnt stick , bind or chatter
9 plate clutch Action 4 ( A Bill Hahn Company )
Pusher bearing from APE
Shift bushing APE
Centrifical Lockup clutch ( Karata Glide )
HD springs Action 4 * probably not needed

Got a Little Bit done today. Installed Liska Idlers and Cylinder Head . Hopefully I can work on it tomorrow
