See info in the following link:
www.zedder.com/Info/82%20KZ305-B1%20CSR.htm
Valve Clearance Cold
Intake 0.14 - 0.19 mm
Exhaust 0.21 - 0.26 mm
Valve Adjustment Method -- Rocker arm screw

Would suggest aiming for the larger clearances within the ranges specified, because the clearances typically are expected to gradually reduce as the engine accumulates mileage.

Good Fortune! :)

I was wondering about valve clearance too. How often should one have to adjust it though? I've ridden this bike 6000 miles in 5 years, and I did adjust the valves 2-3 years ago. So maybe 2500 miles?

And I had no luck getting it right until used a simple an alternative method that was described on the Twins Forum which I can't access now. Maybe I can find it on the wayback machine... :(

Actually I found that info in post 454272 in my previous thread here

kzrider.com/forum/2-engine/454024-valve-...ot-be-there?start=20

which was actually over 4 years and 4000 miles ago. So much for memory; I have none. I'm going to have to relearn the 5 minute procedure again because I've forgotten that too.
