With respect to my recent top end overhaul on my KZ1000 and after 550 miles on it now, plus one dead cold retorque of everything ..... I have exhaust valves that are gapping at ..004", .006" and two at .008", with one intake valve at .006" and the other three are .004"......and wow, I really can hear how much noisier the whole system is!! I'll be re-shimming all of them soon.
