Stripped rocker box bolts on KZ1000P

My daughter has the option of being the So Cal distributor of Belzona. They have adhesive products that will seal a cast iron block, applied a patch to a heavy crane tire stuck in a deep mud hole, let it set, aired it up and drove it out and more. Adhesives have come a long way in the last 40 years.

Yeah, I ordered the heli coil kit and a new cam cover gasket today...so as soon as that gets here Ill be ready to rock. :woohoo:

Stuff rags everywhere and suck out all the shavings.

That is what I was thinking, rags, plastic, and a shop vac. Definitely don't want to leave any metal shavings in there...

Well, I got the heli coils in last weekend, and cam cover/head gasket mating surfaces cleaned up and ready for the re-install, just waiting on some parts.

Quick *noob* question; I guess I did not realize I was supposed to take off the cam chain tensioner cap and spring prior to removing the cam cover. I have not moved or turned over the engine in any way, soooo, is this a problem?
