I couldnt get the bike to start after tear down

If the carbs are removed and drained during the "tear down" work for a while, they can dry out and start acting up.

Guess how I learned that....

IT WORKED! YEEHAWWW! Thankyou guys so much for your patience and insight. Turns out in all the confusion i switched the lobe 180deg out before i discovered that the neg wire had come loose. In my panic I didnt even think to try switching it back. It now starts on one kick, runs strong, and has a good tone from the exhaust. It still backfiring a lil but im confident its all in proper carb adjustment. Next step, rejetting. I made some air breathers that allow me to get 60 or 70mph on the highway, but the bike needs to give more. Thanks again
