Just a quick update that's been too long delayed:
I finally got around to installing the plugs a month or so ago, but haven't had the bike out since to try it out. Then it was hunting season, then the weather went to pot (it does that around this time every year, anyone else notice that?), so I haven't had the bike out yet. I also never got the higher-voltage cap, so I was a bit leery of running the thing even for testing.
I need to get this thing winterized, so I'll order a suitable cap and do it when the thing comes in. I'm hoping I didn't do any damage to the ignition, but only time will tell on that.
