First time ever for me that dipping didn't fix it. I'm convinced this bike has never run right, I did a quickie rebuild on the carbs last year to get it running but it was never enjoyable to ride at low RPM's and the idle was all over the place. I can see why now. Will be changing my carb cleaning processes here on out.
I also ran into an issue with the slides sticking yesterday. It idled fine but would die when hitting the gas and I couldn't sync the carbs to safe my life. Pulled the carbs again last night and saw two were stuck up. Cleaned those and now I'm in business.
Nice to have it running well and not leaking oil all over the place.
