My bike used to have a whine which got louder the faster I went.
I've since stopped taking the wife on the back and the problem has disappeared. :silly:

What you are hearing is gear whine. This is typical Kawasaki. My 75 900 and my 09 C14 have the same gear whine. If a big Kawasaki doesn't have gear whine there is something wrong with it. :lol: Even my 74 900 made the very same noise back in the day.
