Not totally sure, but I think the stabilizer was an option

Everything extra was an option in the states. The steering stabilizer, the extra disc brake. We got screwed! Any Z1 or KZ you find here with a stabilizer was added on by a previous owner. The Kawasaki triples had them as stock. They weren't on the fours. You could purchase them from the dealer.

No, but it jarred my memory if it can be trusted! I think 1 and 3 dumped one side and 2 and 4 the other. I need to see if I can find a pic of the bike. Maybe I am all wrong.
