Im just trying to see all the options. and i did some looking around as you said the FI system would work alot better than carbs.i have no clue on how i should go about this, I am in over my head which is why i came to this fourm to ask how should i go about this. I am learning right now and just exploring all the options... now I can have the machine shop bore out the cyl to 750 or i could go and try and find a 750 cyl and the pistons i need. ill look for a FI system from a 750 turbo and figure out a manifold. ill do some more looking and get my head on straight and figure out exactly what needs to happen

If you're intent on doing this, you should really think about getting an intake manifold made and then go for a draw-through set up with a single carb. It will be WAAAAAAAAYYYY easier then trying to go with a blow through.

I like carbs, but after looking all weekend i have to agree with T_dub FI is the way to go. I had assumed it would be hell to run FI. I was wrong. I was being stuborn and didnt want to break away from carbs thinking it was the way to go. The single carb would be easier than the 4, but the FI would work very nice, and i think the shop at my tech school has one setup laying around so before i do anything im going to go check that out.
