just easier to pull the cams loose to get to all the shims.

if you'd helicoiled as many cam cap bolts as I have just had to, you'd never want to unbolt them again. :blush:

LOL..i hear ya. i too am no stranger to the timesert. didnt have any probs with these though. but it hadnt been tinkerd with before so im sure that helped.

local kawasaki dealer just laughd at me when i said i needed valve shims. said they where obsolete...doesnt make sense to me. said to call back tommorow and talk to one of the old timers about the shims. seems if your not buyin a new bike they dont have much time for ya. looks like ill get some from z1enterprises. not much on ebay this week. i sure do miss rockers some times :)

whoo hooo ordered my shims from z1enterprises today...now just hurry up and wait. what a great web site z1 is. good prices too. even accept paypal. made it real easy to order. cant wait to ride again. im afraid my wife might get mad at me soon though... i saw some real cool stuff on z1.:)
