Not sure of the years of the shaft drives but I think they were only 79-80. If that is right, then it would have the MK11 motor basically. That means the best crank and trans. With the shaft drive trans all you have to do is change out the output shaft for one from a regular trans and you have the MK11 trans...best KZ trans. The crank is the strongest KZ crank but heavier but it also makes for a smoother motor. It would also take a 1075 kit no problem at all...even with the cases. Other then that, OMR is right on...makes a very good case. Or sell that shaft drive motors parts to help finance your build...
