Used the 40wt last year, and now using 50. The engine loves it, and it's green!

KZ-Izzo wrote: lol aviation fuel is too lubricated lol its for high rpm motors that are air cooled thats what the lead in the gas is for, at my local airport its low 5 something a gal totally worth it, ive ran it in all my bikes and never had a problem they love the shit lol and the lead actually keeps the cylinders cooler.
High rpm motors? On what piston aircraft is the redline above 3500 rpm?

Do you have oil pressure light or level light? For some reason most bikes have oil level light.QNman wrote: So I went with Rotella T6 in 5W-40... level is correct... and the oil light stays on a tick longer than it used to when starting. The 5W should actually HELP oil production early, right?

And on an old KZ like mine..... that light sometimes stays on a couple of seconds after cold starting. If I run it every day, not so much. If it hasn't been run in a couple of weeks, stays on longer. I assume that s due to wear in the bottom end (main bearings).650ed wrote: KZ models do not have an oil level light. They has an oil pressure light. Ed
