I ran across a 79 Mark II. I forgot to look but was wondering if they had a true Mark II engine.

The actual 79 kz1000 had the mkII motor with big pin crank, the 79ltd had mismatched parts with small pin crank.
The ltd got the actual mkII motor in 1980 B)

Yeah there seems to be an abundant supply of the 80 ltds around these parts anyway,79s are scarce for some reason.

No Mark II engine but I bought it any way. I will part it out. It was worth the price for the engine.

It has the tall tires. Now no one will want them. I might put them on my A4.

A lot of missing parts.

I started unloading parts and some parts are the same as the Shaft bike I have. Gas tank, rear cowl, and more. One chain drive and one shaft.

This is a good thing. both are blue.

Is any parts on this bike hard to get? I need to sell the parts I don't need.

I did find out the rear rotor is BIG. I installed the rear wheel on my A4 and am going to have to remove the Rotor and put a smaller one on. My stay bar hits the rotor.

No side covers.

The parts are so close to fitting a ST but are off just a little. Roy
