I’ve been having a similar problem. #2 cylinder is burning hotter than the rest after complete carb rebuild with new jets and all new o-rings, new Dyna S coils, new Dyna S ignition, valve lash checked and corrected, etc. I’ve checked for exhaust leaks and found none, but have yet to test compression. There are no vacuum leaks that I can find. I replaced my intake manifolds and have since found that #2 manifold (boot) is shorter than the other three. I’m going to install another set of intake manifolds that I have and see if that helps. I hope it’s not a burned valve or cylinder low on compression after all the work I’ve done.
