I believe wireman is asking twin or 4 cyl. I know 4 cyl 750's go 810 with off the shelf kits and have seen 880cc done with some specialty stuff. Don't have a clue on the twins.

it's a 1980 KZ-750....I believe it is an LTD. I can start with this and the larger block will bolt on later correct???

I believe 810 is in the stock block but the 880 is BIG Money and requires sleeves. Look on 750turbo.com, there is some 880 stuff on there or used to be.

Just go to 810, 880 is too expensive. 810 can be done on the stock block with off the shelf pistons.

You haven't answer the important question: Is it a 4 cylinder motor OR a 2 cylinder motor. It matters, and they made 1980 KZ750 LTD bikes in 2 and 4 cylinder models. Ed

He said 4cyl in his original post, and his avatar is definitely a 750 LTD.

Haha, it sure does.

Anyways, read this: forums.kz650.info/index.php?topic=7051.0

I took a lot of time to write that. In the replies to that post we pretty much cover anything I missed in the original posting. If you still have questions ask after you read that. We've got a crack team over on kz650.info these days.
