The sleeve should be fine once the head is installed. It ain't going anywhere. Some sleeves will easily just pull right out. If you aren't happy with the sleeve pulling out, I suspect you could keep it in place with a few well positioned dollops of JB Weld.

Sorry for the seeming impatience, I guess I have been spoiled by the really quick, useful responses in the past.
Thanks

Funny story. This guy came to the shop to have his 1000 block fitted with a 1075 kit. It was about 90 degrees outside, and this guy had his block in the back of his pickup. He pulls up, jumps out, reaches in and picks up the block and as he lifts it over the side, all four sleeve fly out and land in the street, rolling all around making a racket. He was sorta in shock. We told him, no problem. Picked up all the sleeves, stuck them back in the block while it was still warm. The guy is riding around on his 1075 to this day.

I've read articles that say they must be bored in a certain sequence otherwise they will be ruined!
What say, anybody?
RegardZ.
P.S. I was told Kawasaki doesn't sell new sleeves, or sleeve/piston sets. (Now that would make things easy!)

Admittably, I have seen some pretty tight sleeves, so it is not the normal case, nevertheless, the ones that can move, do work well and the fact they could move is not a disadvantage.
I used to think it was to align precisely to the crankshaft and ensure they were the correct distance apart. Yet, if they could move around after machining in the block/ barrels, this is not so?
