To be clear - this thread was specifically addressing the question of Kerker being supplied as "original" equipment on a KZ650 or KZ750. I suggest it never happened (surely, not on a KZ650). If you have information to the contrary please show it; otherwise it never happened. Obviously, Kerker supplied pipes for some other models; I don't think anyone has suggested otherwise. Ed

i didnt mean the thread to be made as far as original from the factory parts, im talking about the kerker exhaust in orignial condition with all the name badges, baffles and original header still intact

however there has been some great info shared and i appreciate it never the less. it iterests me that other models may have gotten the kerker exhaust from the factory!
1978 kz650 sr- long time project/first bike mostly gone
1979 kz659 sr- new acquisition NEXT project GONE

Both 650s combined to make one great bike! with a new powerplant

it is a 79 frame, 78 front end, both 78 wheels and brakes, 78 body work and a 80' 750-4 motor with gpz 750 cams and a kerker and...
