something look different about this header? has a bend where the collector is. why?

If I had to hazard an educated guess, that header would be a old-style MAC. :)

I'm wondering if it is for oil filter access? I think it would look hot with a shorty add-on pipe coming out the lower right side!:woohoo:

Some of the Kerkers have/had a similar bend to clear the oil drain bolt (I've got an old Kerker system K on my bike) with a short curved pipe to mate with the muffler:

Do Kz1000 exhausts fit the 900 also? sorry for a dumb question but I dont know the exhaust spacing on the later models.
1976 KA900. VM28 pumper carbs, K&N pod fiters, RC performace 4/1 exhaust, Dyna ignition, Accel coils and wires, Ohlins rear shocks.....more to come

The cylinder spacing is the same. You might run into trouble on the rear mount/mounts. I never had any problem with 4into1 systems.Roy

Yes, they do fit.

May require fabbing a simple hang tab for the muffler mount.

to snake around the filter and center stand...then turns in the missing section and corrects...good HP that way too...torque imo.....not much good unless you know the maker or have the other sections imo
