For you guys that use engine stands when building an engine. How do you mount them to the stand? Do you have any pics of the brackets you use?

J, I don't use a "stand" per say, But if you take the stock front motor mount "triangle plates" & bolt 'em to a 2x4 & re-attach to cases, it provides a good platform for bench work.G

Here is a pic I found somewhere in the forum that shows some simple brackets used to mount to an engine stand via the motor mounts. Not my pic, but I saved a copy because I was wondering the same thing myself...

This stand makes it real nice and easy too take head off without getting dirt in engine. Just turn it upside down and smack the hell out of jugs with rubber mallet. Worked for me.
