If u go through a mailing center some of them tack on alot extra so it can vary, but 40 for what Im assuming is Tampa to orlando is crazy

Most areas have USP drop points. Ours is a local hardware store. Much cheaper that way.
Box it yourself.
Generally I can ship a head for $25 - $40 anywhere in the USA. Insurance is cheap. Always insure it for full replacement value.

I had this shop do some extensive repair work to my GPz head :

The owner's name is Kim, the guy also does excellent port work for many drag race guys...CC is VERY resaonable on pricing as well ! Very happy with them

Cavanaugh racing just did my head, nice work, then shipped all the way to sunny Sydney, i WISH freight only cost $40!!!
Larry does excellent work and stands by his workmanship 100%, i would use him again.
I also cant recommend this forum highly enough, great bunch of guys and losts of info
