Should be fun. 1075 kit, Z2 cams, engine disassembled, cases bead blasted, lots of polishing, new valves, swing gate, stainless pan head screws etc etc etc....

Still need to do some gasket trimming and some odds and ends.

That motor is beautiful. Did you do your own bead-blasting?

Man that thing doesn't belong in a motorcycle; it belongs in Tiffanys or some other high end jewelery store. It's beautiful!! Ed

I had TJ Jackson down at Eastside Performance in Mesa Arizona do 99.99% of the work. I've been using him for a long time. He's been in business for over 30 years and knows these bikes. He just bought a UHAUL truck full of old Z1's and Z1 parts. I wish I would have shot some pictures. Tons of NOS stuff, 5 Z1's including a 73 or two, brand new Kerker pipes still in the box, sets of 29 smoothbores, Ohlins shocks, cool swingarms etc...His number is (480) 649-4440.

Is there anything I can do to my cases without disassembling the engine? I would definately remove it from the frame, but I was thinking about soda blasting the cases/cylinder/head and masking off the other stuff. I definately prefer not to paint them.
