Don't know if mine quit working or not but just eliminated it about 20 years ago. Don't want that crap on my bike. I just ran a hose from cover to cover and put a small filter in hole in airbox. Would like to eliminate covers but Apes covers are only for the 1000/1100 I believe. Hose works great and can't be seen anyways.

I think it was Clymer that named it the Air Suction System. :laugh:
