Well I found a crack in my oil pan right by the oil drain. No oil is leaking out of it. Should JB-Weld be good enough for it? It is pretty small.

Nose wheelies at that...

Granted you sated small crack but one other option would work really well... Aluminum brazing rod.... Worked on my engine cases so should work on an oil pan no problem....

Just a thought, JB Weld would be easier no doubt...

Or just another (probably what teK9iNe meant) one on. They can be found pretty cheap on ebay. I've used JB Weld on snowmobile cases, with very good luck. Like it was said... this is what it was made for! :)

good stuff. it wasnt leaking oil so it wasnt like anything major. i would just not prefer to one day see an oil spot under the bike.

ps i can not seem to post any pictures up. everytime i try it says the pixels is too much.

if you are going to use jb weld take the pan off and doit from the inside rough it up real good so it gives it some thing to bite into. and then no one will ever know unless the pull the pan. or replace it.

Am thinking width (horizontal) is limited to 2400 pixels and height (vertical) is limited to 1200 pixels. With overall size limited to 200kb.

Placing mouse pointer on the pic (without clicking) might show the size info.

Good Fortune! :)
