If the bike is not using oil i would check the tach drive and the cam cover. Roy

what color is your exhaust smoke?? It looks to me like its your tach seal. They seem to be a problem leak spot but it also looks like there's alot. More then I've ever seen from a tachdrive. Is this a recent problem or has it just been getting progressively worse?? Does your bike have those wierd baffle things on top the cams?? Have you taken the exhaust off recently?? If you did, did you replace the exaust seals or did you just anneal the old ones and put them back in?? Is there and exhaust seal in that header?? or maybe 2 got stacked by accident?? Either way you can replace that seal for cheap so maybe go that way first.

Here is the oil seal kit for the tach.

Sometimes the oil will pump up the cable and make a mess at the tach.

Been there. mine wouldnt stop leaking last year. i put 2 new seals in , 1 aftermarket,1 OEM. no luck. it came out at the tack, and the drive.
i finaly sealed it by using eng gasket, silicone, at booth ends.the cable is running in an oil bath now.
Does that count as an upgrade ? lol:laugh: .

My engine leaked bad at the tach drive. I could not get it stopped.
When i installed my tach after the paint i noticed someone had two of those pieces that keep the drive in the head instead of one and the cable was not able to seal.
