I Think you are OK. If the bottom of the sleeve was larger than the part in the block, it would have been fun watching your old engine builder get them in the block.

79MKII:it was my best inpersanation of elmer fudd hunting pistons i could come up with!:whistle:anybody saying it wouldnt work would have screwed up my plans:whistle:

Well Duh!!:blush: I forgot about the lip on the top. I guess those only go in one way!! Now I can rest assured that the sleeves are at least 3.240 OD inside the cylinders. Thanks again for all of the help. I love this site!!:)
