Exhaust Help????? was created by twfields79
Okay I have been looking and searching all over for the past few days I have a few questions since I cant seem to find the answers...... Okay I have a 1980 KZ750 H1 LTD..... I am wanting a Kerker 4 into 1 Exhaust for it I have found it for other models bigger motor bikes but none specified for the 1980 KZ so if someone knows if one of the others will fit or know where to get a kerker for my bike that would be awsome!!!!!! Another question Will I have to rejet my carbs if I buy this exhaust? If so does anyone know which jets and what size I am pushing it with my wife on even spending the money to get the new exhaust and I would probably really be in the doghouse if I bought several jets to find the right jetting for it...... I am hoping that I can just get away with installing the kerker and get down the road...... But with my luck prob not...... Any help would be wonderful......

The ones for the KZ 650 will also fit your bike;) . But you probally will have to make a small bracket for the mounting tab to attach to the rear foot peg. As far as jetting goes, i would get the exhaust on the bike first and see how it runs with the current jets;) . I know on my kz 650, i put on a 4 into 1 vance and hines to replace the stock pipes, and never touched the jetting, and it runs spot on.

Here's an example of a diy extension, which also employs a small rubber motor mount to isolate vibration from the frame.
