yep that can be done.;)i tried counting pins on crank but picture is too blurry.a mkII crank is overkill in most situations unless your pushing 150 horse or running a turbo i wouldnt worry about it.the reason kawasaki made them was because guys were building monster bottle bombs and turbo bikes to dragrace .the word on the street back when they came out was that kawasaki was guaranteeing mk II cranks for 200 horsepower all you had to do is weld the pins and go.if i get 140-150 horse at the backwheel on my 1327 bike ill be really happy so unless youre doing something meaner than that i wouldnt worry about it.goodluck,happy wrenching!:evil:

I purchased a 900 crank with a big center pin installed from Pearson racing for a 1327 street motor I built. Very nice piece. Motor revs real quick and screams!!!!!!!!! Has been on dyno at 165 hp at tire.

Thanks for the tip OldKaw. I hadn't heard of that mod before. Where is Pearson racing anyway?
