we index the plugs on the race cars, but then that is a differnt head combustion chamber, and the idea is to get the spark to travel down towards the piston first.
it will also shield it from the fuel coming out of the intake valve. the electrode open end towards the piston.
Does it make any differnce on a dyno,, dont know, but the guy who is building the motors says yes, not going to argue with him.
I reall dont thin it is going to make two dimes worth of difference on a steet appilcation, much less a street bike.
back to the question, you need to purchase an assortment of washers. mark the plug with the electrode side, and set it so its in the middle of the two valves
