steell, on my SR which came with mag's they are tubeless. not sure if they are suppose to be but that's what they are

most people run tubes in their "tubeless mags" on these old bikes. They have a tendency to leak air. Just because you have tubes doesn't mean the wheel was originally designed for one.

Sure, you can run tubeless with the KZ mag wheels, but you won't see me doing it.
There is a difference between tubeless and tube type mag wheels, and it has nothing to do with air leakage, they are designed differently. If the mag wheel is designed to be run tubeless, then it will either say "TL" or "Tubeless" on the wheel.
A tubeless wheel has a ridge on the inside of the tire bead location, the tire bead is between the wheel flange and the ridge. Tubeless wheels also have a deeper well in the center of the rim.
It takes a lot more force to push the bead away from the edge of the rim on a tubeless wheel than it does on a tube type.

Here is a pic of the KZ650SR tube type wheel, look at the bead then compare it to the GPz750 tubeless wheel in the second pic.
