Thanks for link, very informative. I don't know why I have never thought to read about spark plugs before...

The bike was washed and then it was started to "air dry" while riding it around. He noticed bubbles coming from around the spark plug and then thought to check them all. Good thing he did. No noticeable damage and no change in performance.

Spark plugs and my relationship:

I probably torque plugs to FSM spec about 75% of the time. It really depends on what I am doing at the time and if the torque wrench is handy. I have had never stripped threads on any vehicle using a torque wrench (or not). I did have a Jeep that I did not torque to spec because it didn't feel "right" when I was getting close to the FSM torque spec.
I have never used anti-seize on anything and have yet to run across a time when I should have. A different friend puts anti-seize on all of his plugs and never has had a problem either.
