My pipes are stock LTD pipes, I have read they were NOT double walled? But the pipes show no color so that would imply double walled right?
Hopefully this is all the problem is, If so I can live with it. But how can I be sure? Any ideas? I'm not going to start drilling holes and putting pop rivets in my factory exhaust.
The only solution with mine was to get another exhaust. The problem pipe had to be the one factory welded to the muffler. The header has proven to be the best choice in my situation.

are the stock kz550 c pipes even double walled?
thank you!
Is the fact that you only hear it under load a sign of something more mechanical or exhaust?
