Piston/Bore Clearance Question

I've always put a light coating of oil on the cylinders. Figured once motor fired, it would wipe any excess off the walls and clean them up. Ususlly smoke a little for a minute or two but then clear up. Never had any problems.

.003" per inch of bore is fine unless you are spraying.

If you don't know, you probably aren't doing it Seriously, it is using nitrous oxide.
