IB CO engine gaskets

I quit buying OEM NOS gasket sets on eBay after I sent a 750 twin cam cover gasket to someone (fortunately the wrong person) from an NOS OEM set I had bought on eBay, and it arrived in pieces. The paper gaskets dry out over time and get brittle. Might be the same with valves seals, I don't know though because the sets I bought didn't come with valve seals.
