do the mk11 cases bolt up to the kz frames without mods?

76 KZ, frame gusset work,1200CC.Ported by Larry Cavanaugh, 1.5mm.over intakes, Carron Pipe, ZRX12 rear end, and seat,96zx9 front end.

I have a couple MKII engines and you can tell because they have a bevel gear hanging off the side rather than a countershaft sprocket bwhahaha

The shafty has a MKII engine but has a shaft... here is a pic during last rebuild. The engine would fit into any Z, KZ900 or KZ1000 (up to 80) frame if it had a chain drive.

They are K&L supply cylinder head nuts and you are absolutely right... they work BAD... they are not quite as wide as the copper washers and those things sprang leaks on all four oil journals. They are gone and I put a set of OEM nuts on which are slightly larger diameter and stopped the leaks. I painted them black as they always look rusty and if you clean them up, the rust just comes back... will look into the APE nuts as I didn't know you sold them.

We have made these for years. Heat treated to outlast the KZ. Also taller than stock, so one can mill the head to the max, and not have the stud bottom out in the nut.
