The rather strange thing about the LTD line is they have really lost ground on the rest of the KZ line as far as collector market is concerned. Back in 1980 or so you could buy a mint 1976 KZ900 for $1500 where a LTD would still fetch $2500. Now there is no LTD that I can think of that would command more money than the standard model in any Kawasaki line including the 76 900LTD. In comparable condition a 76 KZ900A is more valuable than a 76 KZ900LTD and any Z1 would be worth more yet. The 900LTD is probably the least valuable in todays market of any 900 despite being less of them made and for the 1 yr only. Not trying to downgrade the LTD as I lusted after them back in 76.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.
